CULTURAL AND VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCES

Graduate Teaching Assistant July 2021 - present

Machine Learning Group: member February 2020 - December 2022

As part of Eldorado's incentive, employers can dedicate part of weekly hours to work on a specific project. The project I chose this year is the development of a classification algorithm using Deep Learning for hand gestures recognition, receiving signals from s-EMG, and applying the predicted movement on a hand prosthesis.

Japanese Cuisine: alumni August 2020 - December 2020

Course offered with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan. In this course, I learned the main principles of Japanese Cuisine and basic cutting techniques.

DATA: founder and member July 2019 - December 2019

I helped the founding of the first Data Science group at the University of Sao Paulo, called DATA. We gave lectures on the basic principles of machine learning and data processing.

Por Trás dos Controles: founder and director January 2018 - December 2019

(Behind the Controls) Podcast of scientific divulgation about the game world, at Radio UFScar. I helped create, organize and manage the podcast’s first four seasons. Proudly, it is now in its 11th season.

Fellowship of the Game (FoG): member March 2016 - January 2020

The game development student group focuses on research and knowledge sharing. I had experiences leading groups and developing in Unity and VR. Games I was involved in: Ermo, Otter Shootout and Von Rage.
